- Let Your Facial Hair Grow
- Wash, Dry and Brush Your Beard
- Start Trimming The Sideburns And The Cheek Hair
- Start Trimming Chin And Jaw Hair
- Use A Beard Oil
The first step to get the Thor short beard is to let your facial hair grow for at least 2 weeks. This is crucial especially if you have patchy areas.
Then, before the actual trimming, wash your beard, dry it and then brush it so that it doesn’t have any tangles. You should want to make your life easier, shouldn’t you?
Then, grab your high quality beard trimmer and choose the guard 3mm or 3,5mm (0,11 inch).

Don’t skip on this. It is very cheap. I am not selling you a ton of products. I only mention the bare minimum of things you will need.
Now that you have your long beard it is time for some beard grooming before you start braiding.
For this step, you will need a beard trimmer and a brush. Don’t fear you aren’t going to shorten your beard. Just cut any stray hairs on your sideburns. Make your beard look tidy but the chin hair should not be cut.
Now, the last step before braiding.
Wash your beard, dry it, and then apply some beard oil. Then, brush your beard carefully. This will untangle it and make it easier for you to braid it.
